ITS has a full-service video production studio, which is available to faculty, staff and students of UW-L.
Our mission is to support classroom instruction through the use of digital media.
ITS staff can help instructors design digital media to fit specific academic needs. ITS provides multiple distribution methods like DVDs, digital files for web delivery, and learning objects for D2L.
In addition to providing production design services to faculty and staff, ITS is available to provide guidance to students with questions about digital media production. Some equipment is available for student projects and faculty research projects.
A multimedia lab will be available for faculty, staff and students to use at the start of the Fall 2014 semester. The lab will have equipment to edit video using both Windows and Macintosh computers.

Dr. Volk explains what he has learned from the experience, and how he shares his personal story with students and the public.
In the end he uses his actual "old heart" in his lectures to teach and tell students about the importance of yourself, and the ability to survive life's challenges through the help and family and friends. As he ends the program, "You can do this."
