ex. How do I apply for admission?
have been admitted to the University as a transfer student, congratulations! We
hope that you will find UW-La Crosse to be the perfect fit as you work to
complete your college education. Please review information regarding your admission and important next steps for spring 2014.
As an admitted transfer student,
your next step is to submit your $100 enrollment deposit. Please see the screenshot of how to
pay your enrollment deposit.
Once you submit the $100 enrollment deposit,
we will begin an official evaluation of transfer credits. Criteria such as number of schools
attended and/or number of credits earned may extend time necessary to complete
your transfer credit report.
Once your transfer credit report
is complete, we will notify you via email and direct you to your WINGS Student
Center where you can view your transfer credit report. See the transfer credit report narrative for assistance in understanding your transfer
Please click here for more information about our Transfer Credit Policies, including information
about Advanced Placement (AP), College Level Exam Program (CLEP), and
International Baccalaureate (IB) credits.
Credit is awarded for
college-level course work completed at institutions accredited by a regional or
national accrediting organization recognized by the Council for Higher
Education Accreditation (CHEA). (Foreign institutions must be recognized by the
Ministry of Education in that country.) Courses must be similar in nature,
level, and content to a course in our undergraduate curriculum and applicable
to one of our academic programs. Continuing education courses,
graduate-level courses, and courses that are remedial, technical, vocational,
or doctrinal in nature are not transferable.
If you are transferring
from one of the institutions listed below, we have developed course equivalency
tables to indicate how courses from various institutions will transfer to UW-La
Crosse and if there are any additional program transfer agreements in
place. We also encourage you to consult the Transfer Information System
to understand how courses from other UW System institutions and the Wisconsin
Technical College System may transfer to UW-La Crosse.

goals of the program. The schedule is available online. The

Transfer students who choose not to
participate in the New Student Orientation Groups are invited to attend a
